Its what I was saying earlier about 10 years ago, game managers were in vogue. It was easier to build a stacked team and find a competent QB who wont lose it for you versus finding the franchise QB. There was a legit argument for that for building a team that way. With the new rule changes favoring QBs and WRs, which has devalued the RB position, its made it possible for incomplete teams to win super bowls.

The Patriots did it the next year with Brady, the Bucs did it in 2002 also.
You needed a strong running game, good defense, and a guy that wont lose you the game at QB. With the new rule changes, you can be an incomplete team and win a Super Bowl like Green Bay a few years ago, or the Giants last year.
