Maaaan, That dude probably had Matt & Tony on his ass to keep that match going and only had like 2 mins to make the call. That shyt on Tony, Anybody with 2 eyes could see Matt was fukked up. An athlete is gonna always want to continue.

I rewatched the Hardy match and thankfully he didn’t take another bump after the bump off the cherry picker. For some reason I thought he took a second or third but they went straight to the finish.

AEW needs some adults backstage to tell these dudes “NO u a 45 yr old man will not be taking a 10ft bump with a green talent in a midcard match.” Tony obviously can’t handle that responsibility.
Big Swole vs Dr. Britt Baker
A hilarious mess that was kept short and sweet.
Young Bucks vs Jurassic Express
This was a decent match. Luchasaurus is a potential money making bonanza if AEW market him right. Their first mistake was not including him in the first roll out of their action figures...who was looking for a Brandi figure? Make one of the giant martial arts dinosaur man, that's where the money is. But let dude cook as a singles wrestler and the kids will be even more into him than they already are and then they will force their parents to buy all his merch.
Casino Battle Royale
The only gimmick battle royale match I truly enjoy is The Royal Rumble (even a bad RR usually is pretty decent) and the way they introduce 5 dudes at a time just makes everything clunky.
Lance Archer winning was the right move and it was cool that Will Hobbs got to be in it and get a little shine; hopefully that's a sign of good things for the homie moving forward.
This match also has put the idea of a Fenix vs Darby feud in my head from their very brief interaction. I think that would be flames.
That Matt Sydal botch was pure comedy though.
Matt Hardy vs Sammy Guevara
When it was obvious that Matt hit his head and was unconscious they should've called the audible and had the ref count Matt out.
Its past time for Matt to hang it up and join the creative team.
Hikaru Shida vs Thunder Rosa
A nice physical match that made both ladies look strong even though Shida went over. I'm looking forward to a rematch for Rosa's NWA belt as a follow up.
The Dark Order vs The Natural Nightmares/Scorpio Sky/Matt Cardona
At least Dustin is getting a title shot out of it
Kenny Omega & Hangman Page vs FTR
Douchebag Kenny Omega is here and I'm all for it!
The match was good too btw.
Chris Jericho vs Orange Cassidy
This is still one of the dumbest match stipulations I've ever seen but to his credit Jericho didn't seem quite as
as he's looked on the last month or so of AEW Dynamite shows.
Jon Moxley vs MJF
I have been tired of Moxley as champ since about 5 minutes after he won the belt so I was hoping for an MJF win but I knew that wasn't happening once Archer won the CBR title shot.
This did end up being more entertaining than I was expecting though.

Also to chime in..... comparing Owen Hart dying to Matt Hardy falling 10 feet overshooting a table is a deeeeeeeeeep reach and stretch.
That’s taking it a little toooo far and I’m enjoying the trolling exposing the fake angry posters that’s its becoming clear they only have a problem with post like that when it’s attacking WWE but don’t say shyt when the attacks are against other companies.
Hardy though maybe slightly injured (and I’m saying based off the fact that reports are per him and the doctors he’s fine) is still alive and going back to his family. Owen is dead. There’s no comparing the 2.
A better comparison would’ve been Taker vs Mankind HITC, but the brother Fiend be trynna go in too hard
