its pretty terrible, like 3 songs that are good. compared to it the first album is actually dope as hell lol

at the end, joell joe and royce put out much better solo music imo. I like the idea of SH but really they never hit it off well....

I hate to say it but Eminem literally fukked up this groups brand. He got these nikkas rhyming on these D-12 sounding ass tracks and its coming across as corny as hell. These nikkas are SPITTERS.. Give them heat from 9th Wonder, Black Milk, Dre, Just Blaze, Alchemist, Premier and let them beast these tracks like we know they could, Not this Billboard top 40 sounding bullshyt
Exactly what i said in another SH thread

I could see if it was Illmatic or something. But you're really trying to psychoanalyze someone's motives for not liking a complete and utter roach leg of an album.Which is just fukking weird, and says more about you and whatever lame ass connection you feel with slaughterhouse than anything else.

Correct. I'm completely against wack ass music, gimmicks, and corny nikkas. Also, nikkas who can't make a worthwhile album that grabs the public's attention and hide behind "real hip hop culture" are particularly odious. Especially when they try to go pop first chance they get. And, pathetically, they even suck at that. Aside from that, it's really not that deep, homie.
.

I can understand you being against their style.. or their bars. It's outdated to you, not your cup of tea. Fine. But how is Slaughterhouse the one group you point to at as the epitome of wackness and gimmicks?

Sorry breh but im tired of this excuse to give bullshyt a pass. Just because its better than wats out doesnt make it any good. They didnt even attempt to make a good album.

I'm not using this as an excuse. I agree that it's a sub par album, and it's an embarrassing attempt to crossover... but a lot of yall are acting like it's the worst album ever made.. like it's Lil B, Waka Flame, Soulja Boy bad. It's not.. there's some decent lyricism on the album, the hooks and beats just hurt it because it sounds weird for a group of battle rap cypher emcees to be rapping over shyt like that.

Kinda like Lasers. That was so far from what Lupe has ever done or what fans have ever wanted from him that it was a huge disappointment, and left a bad taste in fans mouths, but is it an absolutely atrocious album? No.. it's not.

Maybe I'm just fighting a losing battle here, because I seem to be the only person on here who can enjoy music with pop elements in it.

join the one man club with me...nikkas really do have close minded minds when it comes to hip-hop...

I played this album for one of my home boys and he told me lyrically they killed it. He actually like the beat production as well...seeing that he is a pretty dope producer himself. When i told him that nikkas on the net were dissing it he just went "Of course they are...they are probably the same nikkas that buy that 2 Chainz and Wakka bullshyt..:skip:"

Like i said...the album still knocks to me...and thats all that matters.

Lets play a game....one of yall nikkas in here break down HOW this album is garbage...what lyrics and what beats were corny to you and why?...cuz i honestly I REAAALLY want to know....

I see what ur saying. I guess im just so upset with how this album turned out im throwin it in front of moving cars. But u r right on that about it being better than waka flaka and 2 chains etc. I just dont wanna give it a pass cause its slightly better than trash. And I to listen to other genre's besides rap. Like jazz electronica all kinds of house (minus electro) and some rock. So I appreciate some of their rock influenced attempts. I just thing as a whole they went over board with it. Its more of the production that fukked me up. Put the lyrics (not hooks or bridges) on some better beats (just blaze black milk etc) then I would tone it down lol. This isnt thier forte at all. Its like Stevie wonder singin over a system of a down chop suey beat.

I can agree to disagree with u. Just dont cop out assuming we are all 2 chains fans. In fact I hated most of mainstream rap since dem franchise boys/D4L took over the rap game. All the way up to ross drake and mr. jeggings (wayne) nikkas got different taste. If u like the album props to u. Hope u buy and support it. As for the rest of us the shyt is being thrown mentally in the bushes :birdman: cause it aint gettin a purchase from me fukk em.

Lol @ all the fakkits in here saying anyone who doesn't like the album must be a 2 chains, Wayne or waka fans smh are u kidding me? If anything this new SH sounds like a fukkin Wayne album on the production/hook side. The lyrics are great in some parts but there's about 8 tracks where the lyrics are fukkin horribly dumbed down. If anything the people saying the album is good are the ones who are the mainstream hip hop fans. Yeah fakkits the guys complaining the album is too mainstream just LOVE mainstream hip hop! :rudy:

A lot of smart dumb motherfukkers in this thread I see :rudy:

If u like this album ur a fakkit period and that's just the way it is :smugdraper:
