I’m a fan of both WWE and AEW and even I’ll admit that it wasn’t a good show outside of the opener & Punk

But there are more good episodes of Dynamite than bad, can’t say the same for Raw/SmackDown

AEW is only 2 years old. Do you still think Tony Khan doesn't need to attract new viewers?

But there is a way to go about it and thus far they doing pretty well.

More people watch or are aware of their show today than they did in 2019. They already doing what they need to do and not getting too crazy with it.

Keep establishing that and they will be fine with casuals down the line Coli wants it to be a sprint when this shyt is really a marathon.

And that’s not reserved for them, I’m talking the rebranded IMPACT, NWA Power, Lucha Underground (as they are rumored to be trynna come back) and MLW.

NJPW and AAA are the main ones I feel like should be doing what everyone wants AEW to do now. They BEEN established, they for the most part have their fanbase (which is pretty big) and they need to be working harder to increase love from the casual. Which pre Covid and pre AEW, NJPW look like they was doing

When companies cater to the casuals, they lose their spark. Plus, the same people wanting them to cater to casuals, will be the 1st ones to refer to a company as WWE-lite when they do such.

They're already WWE-lite, and that's okay. When was the last episode of Dynamite that didn't feature Jericho, Moxley, Christian, Big Show, and a bunch of other WWE guys (that's the company casuals will associate them with)? Once CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, Bray Wyatt, Ric Flair, and Braun arrive, how often do you think they'll be featured on the flagship show?
You can try to spin it however you want. Meanwhile, Tony is going to keep chasing those casuals.

The varsity blondes have been on dynamite plenty of times.

They even main evented against the young bucks.

this is Punk’s first dynamite, they should be stacking the card to make sure people tune in week after week even if Punk isn’t there

Its not like any casuals who only know punk from WWE, are accustomed to high-level programming.

I would imagine MJF goes over Jericho at All Out and Jericho goes and does commentary. Jericho was in AEW to put them on the map but there’s no use for him now

I think the problem with y’all that both has people either barking back at y’all or people losing y’all is y’all extremes.

Like across the feds we’ve seen some BAD shows. This wasn’t close to a bad show in comparison to say the worst WWE (all brands), TNA, and WCW, ECW shows.

Now if y’all didn’t use the the 2 note “GREAT or SUCK” scale and just said it was an average show. And left it at that….. people would probably agree more. No need to be polarizing for the sake of being polarizing.

The fifth labor being MJF made no sense, I figured they did that so either guy would be free to feud with Punk or Bryan but now that they’re running it byke again it just feels off.
