[08/19] AEW Rampage: Swerve In Our Glory vs. Private Party for the AEW Tag Titles, HOOK Defends FTW Title

Another weak Rampage for me, but I was expecting more out of the tag-team title match.

Aside from the main, didn't seem like any of the other matches got time to cook and I knew Best Friends were getting the W in the main. Trust Busters seem like you just pulled 3 wrestling gimmicks out of a bag and put them together.

Special K were a decent tag team in ROH's early days

That was a stable, not just a tag team.

The tag title match should have been better than what it was. Also how the hell was that Swerve and Lee's first defense? They won the tag titles like 5 weeks ago! Shaping up to be a Thunder Rosa type reign with the tag titles.

Wrestling and other live sports/non scripted stuff seems to benefit from this shift though as networks are willing to pay for them (Smackdown on Fox after Disney brought their scripted stuff, Discovery asking AEW for more shows and PPVs)
