Of all the times watching dudes go 900mph in AEW, the one match where I absolutely wanted them to do a 900mph PWG match, they sent the Bucks & Dark Order out there to work a slowed down basic tag match & then of course beat Dark Order despite all their advantages


Cody running through the midcard & every match being the same "looked good in defeat" no matter who it is isn't helping anybody. Scorpio Sky looked like a dude they were going to push & then he vanished to the Dark realm just like Archer did after the last PPV.

at fukking up the dragon screw twice & then Jericho deciding fukk this shyt on the third attempt. Then fukking up the finish to top it off.

They going to have to go into overdrive to build this PPV. shyts like 3 weeks away Cody & Shida are both doing open challenge gimmicks, Jericho just lost, & their building up PNP vs Best Friends more than any other tag match at the moment.

The folks in charge over there are really bad at letting things build and breathe.
It's constant instant gratification instead of letting a storyline flow and a feud build up to be something more than a microwave meal.
And the build for the PPV in September is downright WWE like which is never a good thing.

MJF vs Mox and the tag title match have been built up pretty well. The rest, not really.

Mox/MJF seems completely out of nowhere considering MFJ has done absolutely nothing since beating Cody all the way back in February besides a mini feud with comedy mid carders Jurassic Express. Like....that's what should have happened right after Revolution, not 6 months later out of the blue where MJF wasn't even on TV for like 2 months after and Mox just bounces around with former WWE guys and whatever new signing came in.

I swear there was a time that Cody swore they won't going to just hire every WWE talent that gets released and yet their current roster has: Jim Ross, Taz, Jericho, Ambrose, Cody, The Revival, Luke Harper, Matt Hardy, Goldust, Jack Swagger, Neville, Tye Dillinger, Tino whatever, Taynara, Justin Roberts, Dasha, Earl Hebner, Mike Chioda, Billy Gunn, Zack Ryder, almost all the women were in the MYC, plus Arn and Tully, plus they just had Bischoff on.
