So this Hanma guy, is he really like that brehs?

I've never heard of him.... even before when I was less of a casual watcher of NJPW and knew briefly of guys like Shinsuke or etc..... I dont recall this guy and I dont recall yall talking too much about him.

Whats the coli feeling on him?

Honma was a lovable loser that through sheer charisma, resilience and talent became a fan favorite in the later years of his career by being a guy that could go toe to toe with the most brutal guys on the roster.

He's an awesome feel good story that can give you really dope matches in the right enviroment.

You are not gonna see the match were he got his throat fukked up breh, chill. He crushed his vocal cords when he started his career in Big Japan, 7 years before he got to New Japan.

That was fukking awesome fukking loved the first 10 minutes, every counter was done because the other guy knew what was coming, not because it would look cool - therefore it didn't come off as choreographed - and from the moment Ibushi lands his first kick (right in Kenny's neck) you know this is not gonna be a friendly encounter. It didn't have the level of excess of Kenny vs Ishii and I'm glad it didn't because it made some of spots feel as impactful as possible, considering the context and the two wrestlers involved. Good and decisive finish. It's two years in a row were Omega has his best match in the last night of the group stage


I really, REALLY hope we get heel, a$$hole Tanahashi tomorrow

Of course Tana wins the G1 because Ibushi already gets his title shot for beating Omega in the B-block finals.
