Cody must be winning the ROH title. Same reason he was pulled last year
It’s for the best, Cody would get exposed hard if he suddenly had to wrestle 2nd tier guys like Tama and Yoshihashi In the dead of July instead of getting carried by Ibushi and Omega like he has been.

Block A is terrible. Feeling Okada might go through undefeated. Plus we getting the random Tanahashi/Fale match for the 3000th time. :francis:

Block B on the other hand.

Omega/Ibushi :noah:
Ibushi and Naito killing each other :wow:
Omega and Naito killing each other :wow:
Tama beefing with Omega again :lolbron:
ZSJ Ishii rivalry renews :blessed:
Yano and Omega comedy match part 3. :mjlol:

Right, cause he hasn't been wrestling B team jabronis this whole year in ROH :comeon:

Just to let you know, Omega/Ibushi will be at Budokan, NJPW not that stupid. The same place when they faced each other 6 years ago.

Omega, Naito and Ibushi on the same block, good :obama: will Golden Lovers headline Budokan for a 2nd time? :lupe: or will they go with Naito vs Ibushi as a de facto semifinal to main event the 2nd night there?

I guess MiSu could be a potential upset winner of Block A, but Okada seems like a certified lock to win it and headline Budokan twice. Would be fun to see Tana reach the finals, though it might be too early to give him the "older guy has a big run in the tourney" angle. Last time they did it was 7 years ago with Kojima so they are kinda due :ld:

Would make sense. Kenny winning and costing Ibushi the chance to get to the Finals as the first step to them breaking up again - or at the very least, a more competitive/heated match against each other at WK - or Ibushi beating the champ to get to the last day and win the chance to challenge him at WK, whatever they do with those two writes itself at this point. Is the only angle/feud that it's practically impossible to fukk up.

I can still see Naito and Ibushi being the headliners though, it would be the most unpredictable match in the tournament and for a shot at the finals.

G1 different from ROH and you know it, ROH only tapes every so often but G1 is doing like 30 matches in a month, in the dead of summer in arenas with no AC. Way more grueling than ROH tapings. Plus ROH crowds are way more forgiving of Cody’s shyttiness.

You act like he didn't work a WWE schedule for 10 years...

Toru Yano can do a G1 but Cody would get exposed :dead:
