Some discretion adviced because I'm a total Sanada mark but there is literally no reason why Sanada shouldn't be one of the top guys in NJPW. He's still young so he got many years ahead of him and at this point the guy already has all the skill in the world. He's got the psychology, storytelling and look too and the crowd's always behind him too so basically the only thing against him at present time is that he doesn't fit into a "genius" Gedo plan.

Yeah I was looking at the match and literally thought to myself ":ohhh:holy shyt. there's NOTHING this cat can't do wrestling wise...."

It's REALLY easy to take for granted the fact that wrestlers really do have their own individual lanes style wise and they stay firmly in them.

At the most they may transition from style to style as they get older/more injured/gain or lose weight

But it really seems like SANADA can wrestle any style he pleases. High flying, strong style, catch as catch can, bully heel, underdog face....

Dude is a true All-Rounder. Hell of a talent to be mid-card :wow:

I know it might be considered blasphemy but I honestly believe that Sanada might train harder than Ibushi to be able to do anything. Hell, just consider the match started like this:

How the fukk do you flip out of that? :dwillhuh:

Brehs, lowkey Goto might be the MVP so far :ohhh:
After this match I don't really see how you can disagree. Dude seems completely revigorated and it's awesome.

Having just finished that SANADA/ZSJ match, I swear I got a Tanahashi vibe from SANADA in that match.

I knew he was good -- it's very effortless with him. His Dragon Sleeper needs work but I feel like his Moonsault is his actual finish. Sans that, he's as smooth and as balanced as it gets -- but this match was a coming out party.

To me, the only thing holding him back is he came from All-Japan/W-1 ranks and not NJPW. He just got it. The athleticism, the look (no homo), the don't say shyt character. Hopefully, he gets a game-changing dub against Omega this G-1.
