Probably won’t defend at least until summerslam too :francis:. Every year goes from November to the rumble without a single title defense too. Went 3 months without defending it last year & 2 months off tv entirely in the spring/summer. Remember when we all used to complain about Brock doing this and how Roman vs Brock at wrestlemania 34 was built around Roman complaining about Brock never showing up to work or defending the belt?

Seriously don't nobody care, because if they did then he would get booed for not defending it more. People are appreciating Roman doing something that's hasn't been done since Bruno & Hogan, and that's be champ for multiple years without becoming stale.

It’s. A. Work.

It's literally why Seth's title was made. Now that one is being defended all the time.

nikkas clearly young. That defend every month shyt didn’t become a real thing until 98.
We’ve got 25+ years of precedent that the champ should regularly be defending the belt because when he doesn’t it stalls out everyone else’s ability to rise to the main event level at all :beli: . It hurts the product when one of the two shows essentially doesn’t have a world title picture regardless of whether he’s doing great work or not. It also meant that Gunther couldn’t drop the IC title and graduate to the world title level since he’d be facing another heel, which also means nobody else was able to rise to the IC title level. Obviously they can take the US title off theory any time now:martin:
