Just watched a clip of Kofi winning. I wept when the kids came out. Just a beautiful story beginning to end. This is playfighting at it's peak brehs. I want to believe WWE will use this as a template; CHARACTER DRIVEN STORIES WITH A DEFINITE FINISH but who knows. Even if it's 50/50 booking from here on out, WWE had that magic again, if only for the 30-45 minute span and you can't take that away.

Low key HHH vs Batista was a good, sensical story too but it wasn't fast enough with enough hard kicks for a lot of internet fans

I'm going to say it wasn't. :skip:

That one moment they had at SmackDown 1000 (Batista saying that Triple H has done everything in the business except beat him) was enough storyline for a WrestleMania match. Batista could just spend his time bragging about never losing to Triple H and it continues bothering Triple H until he challenges Batista to a match. Batista could have said he has no interest in facing Triple H again unless there's some incentive, unless it's on his terms. This is when Batista could say it has to be no holds barred, and Triple H has to put his career on his line. Only then would he agree to the match.

But Batista begging for Triple H's attention, going as far as to beat up his mentor on his birthday just to get to a man that he's never lost to? Nope, doesn't make sense at all. :francis:

It made sense because he was pushed out of WWE and not really treated like a big deal by management. And HHH can be management. And he held a grudge and called HHH out for a match, wanting to embarass him knowing he can beat him.

HHH/Batista was terrible wtf lmaoooo. It was bad in a hilarious way, though. Both dudes were SO gassed it was amazing, especially as they had barely done anything. Batista was dying picking up the steps, literally standing there with his hands on his hips saying "fukk" :mjlol:

They should have stuck with the torture porn shyt and gone full death match tbh. Neither would have really even have had to take a bump, just bleed.

I feel like it would have made more sense if Batista came back stating that Triple H was wrong about his movie career, and he still resents him for what happened back in 2014. Then he could attack him or whatever. Triple H could then challenge him at WrestleMania, but again, Batista doesn't agree to a match unless it's on his terms.

The story doesn't make sense to me unless Triple H is the one begging for another match. It's like what they did with Undertaker and Triple H back in 2012, but that made more sense because Undertaker barely won the year before, and he couldn't even get up under his own power. Plus, the match was worth it.

In this case, both the storyline and the match was trash. :russ:
