He can keep doing his trolling shyt for the next few months and getting that character over more. Priest has a limited amount of time with the briefcase, closing that loop takes priority.

You don't have Cody win the belt and lose to Drew to kill his heat, and Priest is still in the wings.

You don't have Priest win the belt and not have Cody or Seth still involved.

You don't have Seth win, he's beat up.

Drew and Punk doesn't need to be for a belt outright, so for the 3-4 months Punk is out, Drew can continue being a dikk to babyfaces and talking shyt about top stars in the process.

Again- Cody NEVER SAID shyt about wrestling Rollins instead. He said he was going after Roman and the title, because THAT's the title he wants... but not at WrestleMania. There is a show between now and Mania. So if this is the title he has clearly stated he wants and the match isn't gonna be at Mania...

it's in 3 weeks and there isn't ONE match announced yet... not sure why that couldn't be one of them. Backstory is already there. They just faced off on TV last night. And sure, the internet said Roman isn't gonna be at the February PPV, but WWE didn't confirm that and I think they know better than "sources" do.

Why didn't they have The Rock win the Rumble then?

Reports are now saying rock basically forced his way in over the last few days, so after the rumble he comes in and books himself into the main event of the biggest show of the year ahead of the #1 contender who just won the match to get that slot.

It's not just Black Adam flopping, he basically burned a bridge with one of the biggest studios in Warner Bros by his failed DCU takeover.

Its a reason why he peaced out on Fast and then quickly ran right back to them after the DCU shyt. He needed it.

Its a reason he's now rushing back into WWE. He needs it.

Breh it's not really arguable in my mind, you have major media outlets who cover the in's and out's of hollywood business already telling you what it is.

That's all just rumors and speculation. My point is that whether WBD doesn't work with him anymore or not, the fact is that he didn't need WWE. He is doing this because he knows it's what the people want. The writers' strike gave him a few months off to get the negotiations going, and now we are here. You make it seem like the Fast franchise wasn't begging everyone, including John Singleton's corpse, to come back for these last few movies.

If it wasn't for Fast, he still has the XFL. He can always make Jumanji 8. He may not get to be a DC superhero, but that wasn't stopping his train from moving.

I think the majority of fans don't really care that much, and you're seeing the smark community do what they always do. You had 10k people last night chanting this is awesome, and people don't want to mention that The Rock & Roman faceoff got a much bigger reaction than when Cody & Roman were having their moment. Where was all the hatred when Rock asked if he should sit at the head of the table?
