It's telling that the rest of the "pillars" (Darby, MJF, even Jungle Boy to an extent) have all improved significantly in one way or another since AEW started, yet Sammy only just started getting better in the last few months, and even that's just marginal.

Then again, with what I've heard about his attitude backstage, maybe he just isn't that great of a listener, or rather doesn't want to be a great listener. I wouldn't even be surprised if the quote-unquote "4 Killers" (Garcia, Moriarty, Hook, Yuta) end up lapping him in terms of development by the end of the year.

I wouldn’t be surprised too though….. that’s one thing I like about AEW is how they cycle people in and out.

While some folks who are casual watchers or people that wanna complain for the sake of complaining always bytch about “but why ____ ain’t on every week?”

Since day 1 they been showed the pattern of trying to rotate the talent, not over expose folks, and give everyone or as many as they can get their shine throughout different parts of the year.

Me personally, I don’t think we need to see the same people every week doing the same damn thing for a year straight, cuz at some point that shyt gets stale

SoCal State Beaches
Private Party has literally done EVERYTHING the coli ask them to do too.

Coli told them to change they gear, CHECK
Coli told them to develop their characters, CHECK
Coli told them to get a manager cuz they didn’t think they can cut promo’s, CHECK
Coli told them to turn HEEL cuz they don’t like them as faces, CHECK

Gotdamn what more do they want?:russ:

And the thing about it is...they've legitimately improved quite a bit over the last two years. But if you watch a Private Party match (ESPECIALLY in singles), you can clearly see that they still have a long, looooong way to go before they're anything close to complete wrestlers.

I just wish people would have patience with some of these developing wrestlers.

good show , but i wouldve had punk/wardlow as main event

I don't disagree, but I also think that people who complain about Dynamite leading off with its strongest matches dom't really understand how TK books or what he's working with.

They have to tape two TV shows AND an hour or so long web show in about 4-5 hours. That's going to kill even the most raucous crowd after a certain point. Because of that, TK seems to book for the 4+ hour live show first (to create and maintain atmosphere), and the three separate TV shows drawn from said live show second. If you think about it like this, then Dynamite isn't it's own standalone thing, but hour two of a very, very long live show after an hour of prelim matches. In that scenario, why WOULDN'T you throw a marquee match or two into the mix to wake the crowd up? Same for Rampage (hour 4 of a 4+ hour live show): it make sense to pull the crowd along with consequential, yet not necessarily huge matches so as to not exhaust the crowd, then pop them again with a big match at the start of the Rampage hour. The final matches then cool the crowd down and end with a crowd pleaser (most recently Adam Cole) to send the crowd home on a high note.

I'm not saying it always makes for great TV, but it DOES make a certain kind of sense for a company that doesn't have the resources to book venues and tour the way WWE does.

Yea you can tell no disrespect to anyone but a lot of the coli hasn’t been to their shows.

They forget AEW roughly does 1 travel show a week so they get all or as much of their content in on Wed and then splice it up

Them Dark matches are either at 7pm at the start of the show or at 11 after bow RAMPAGE has ended

so yea…. They try to get they top shyt in as early as possible to keep the vibe

Okay show, I agree with the crowd not seeming as fired up as they normally do which plays a factor.

Daniel Garcia may be a good technical wrestler, but his presentation is :ld:. Even fans of his have to admit he looks like a create a wrestler before any changes are made.

Cool to see Archer back.

So that's what Brody King looks like :ohhh:. Makes sense he would run with Malakai with those demonic tattoos :demonic:

Was hoping to get another good match from Deeb/Shida instead of just a beatdown :francis:. They have done a better job of using more women throughout the show, hearing Statlander and Leyla talk :leon:

I do love how Tony has beef with MJF and Adam Cole. And that boombox comment he had was :mjlol:
