Night 2 was way, way better than night 1 top to bottom but just like last year, it should have been one great show instead of 2 okay and pretty good shows.

Battle royal and KOPW fukkery should have been combined into one match on the pre show. Cut 10 minutes from Ospreay/Okada, cut 5-10 from GOD/DT match (that shyt went 20 minutes ) , shave a couple of minutes from Tana's match, junior tag didn't need to be more than 10 minutes long, Sanada vs EVIL could have have 5 minutes of Togo fukkery cut, and don't back yourself into a corner with double titles, a second contender, and two nights.

Cobb's problem in NJPW has always been cardio. Dude could not keep up with the workrate and it stilted his matches a lot. He's slowly improving but still got ways to go. His powerhouse offense is just impressive as fukk though so pair him with the right kind of guy in the right kind of match (like this one) and the result is

Wato has also been quietly improving. I think the awkward way his debut happened, the weird period in which it happened and his general nervousness put him off to a bad start. All the deliberate tag matches with veterans and pairing him with a committed role player in Taguchi seems to have helped him find his groove a bit.
