I disagree that everybody got style now. It's just that everybody get their game from the net now. There's too much gentrification of classic urban style and the sneaker game right now. So now even white boys from the surburbs think they fresh now because they got a hold of daddy's visa. And everybody trying to dress the exact same. It's either straight hype beast or tacky gay Italian designer that's made for IG fuccbois trying to look rich. Ain't nothing fly about a basic hoodie or t shirt with a basic Balenciaga, Supreme or Gucci logo. And half these kicks selling for over a stack resale or retail only selling for that much because everybody wants them. People who are fly always stand out whilst blending in. If you really fly, you can make your clothes that are just as fresh or fresher than what everyone else wearing. Growing up in the 90's taught us individuality is king.

What was dope about the 2000's was that urban fashion was unapologetically black. Crackers didn't dare try to wear those looks because they knew how stupid they would look. And if they did, they were socially ostracized until they became culturally white again.
All of this.
Every era has some terrible trends but the 2000s were truly the absolute WOAT era for fashion hands down. dikkies, FUBU, oversized EVERYTHING There's almost nothing I can see coming back for a revival in 2030 or whatever outside of maybe NASCAR/M&M jackets.
Honestly, a lot of it was dope - it was just too big. And some of the overly graffiti'd stuff was wack too - but dikkies, white Ts, AF1s, Js, leather jackets, Timbs, are pretty timeless.
