Truth be told, most people can't dress regardless of the era. :usure:Nowadays has some hella gay fashion. nikkas wearing purses, Balenciaga man heels, running up credit cards buying gay gaudy Italian shyt or hypebeast fuccbois looking like 35 year old 14 year olds with Bape hoodies looking like a big ass Four Loko can. Dressing like the rich Asian in college starter pack meme.:scust:

Tell me Rae and Ghost weren't dripped out in 2000. Make these new booty brehs look hella suspect in the light

This is the way me n my ppls dressed. Back then, cats were drippy. All nggas are doin now, is emulating the shyt all the cool nggas were wearin BACK THEN. The sizes are just toned down. Everybody got style now, cuz dudes that could dress then, set the template.

Only certain individuals were wearin (Tims) constructs, or AF1s, or even on Js heavy like that. Everyone didn't know how to freak off a pair of Pumas, or some Adidas like they do now. Its easy as shyt to get fly today.

I can't speak on you goofy bamma nggas rockin FUBU and all that other goofy shyt your postin.:mjlol:

Dudes on here postin Chingy, Nelly, and Luda. :russ: Nah...thats how yall carried it.

I disagree that everybody got style now. It's just that everybody get their game from the net now. There's too much gentrification of classic urban style and the sneaker game right now. So now even white boys from the surburbs think they fresh now because they got a hold of daddy's visa. And everybody trying to dress the exact same. It's either straight hype beast or tacky gay Italian designer that's made for IG fuccbois trying to look rich. Ain't nothing fly about a basic hoodie or t shirt with a basic Balenciaga, Supreme or Gucci logo. And half these kicks selling for over a stack resale or retail only selling for that much because everybody wants them. People who are fly always stand out whilst blending in. If you really fly, you can make your clothes that are just as fresh or fresher than what everyone else wearing. Growing up in the 90's taught us individuality is king.

What was dope about the 2000's was that urban fashion was unapologetically black. Crackers didn't dare try to wear those looks because they knew how stupid they would look. And if they did, they were socially ostracized until they became culturally white again.

Every era has some terrible trends but the 2000s were truly the absolute WOAT era for fashion hands down. dikkies, FUBU, oversized EVERYTHING There's almost nothing I can see coming back for a revival in 2030 or whatever outside of maybe NASCAR/M&M jackets.

80s fashion<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

grandmaster_flash_furious_five_fashion_stylist_regret.jpg

that wasn’t 80s fashion. Them dudes were clearly trying to stand out and this was the beginning of Hip Hop when the clothing aspect of the culture wasn’t defined. Them dudes were in the same vain of something like Kiss with these outfits and carrying over that flamboyant 70s disco club culture shyt.

No regular person was dressing like them back then. No store had endless quantities of these outfits in stock like you saw with stores having stockpiles of 4x tall tees and long ass jean shorts

Theres a direct correlation between the ultra wack fashion, and the emergence of totally wack rap.

That tragic era is the reason everything sucks today.
