Movies and tv shows
Walking out now, I loved it. Yeah I wish the story was a bit better but I like this Barry over tv Barry. Idk maybe cause I love Ezra Miller and his Flash was more awkward in a relatable way than on the show. I wish Cyborg wasn’t so one dimensional... but i loved how they had Superman & flash compete to see who was really the fastest. And to top it off Cyborg said a subtle Boo-ya. Lol, I’m just way more used to the Teen titans Go Cyborg, I just wanted more. But of course I’m not gonna get that. It was also (and will always be) strange seeing Schillinger as a good guy. If I ever meet JK Simmons I’m more likely to refer to him as such. Obviously I’m of the minority but I’m looking forward to all follow uo projects. Hopefully all without Affleck.

SLADE??!?!?? That means it’s gonnna be a Teen Titans movie!! I mean Luthor said to Slade that theyre going to need a team of their own... obviously the Hive.

WARNER BROS FACING POSSIBLE $100M LOSS ON JUSTICE LEAGUE

Their latest instalment in the DC Extended Universe hasn’t opened to rave reviews, and the box office taking isn’t looking too healthy either.

Obviously, critical reviews don’t matter all that much to Warner Bros, the only thing they really care about is making a profitable film.

If they make enough money on Justice League, fans will be 'treated' to a plethora of solo titles from the likes of Aquaman, Cyborg and of course Batman and Wonder Woman.

While the latter two are probably in the bag given the cultural power they both hold, the future of the rest of the extended universe is in some doubt.

Especially because the film is expected to run as much as a $100 million loss for the company.

Rob Cain, a former studio executive and current film finance consultant and producer, has tallied up the estimates based on the available data for Forbes.

The current box office trajectory suggests a final domestic theatrical gross of around $235 million

(that’s assuming a 2.45x multiplier on the $96 million first weekend gross, 2.45 being the median multiplier for DC’s prior 4 DCEU releases).

Overseas I’m projecting a final international tally of around $400 million (assuming fairly generously that JL gets the same hefty 2.15x multiple on its $185 million opening weekend overseas that Batman v Superman (BvS) got on its first overseas weekend.

Adding the domestic and overseas numbers gets us a $635 million worldwide theatrical gross. If that number holds up it would mean that Justice League is the lowest-grossing movie among the five DCEU releases so far.

Rob then estimates that after deductions, around $275 million of the estimated take home from the film will go straight into the pockets of Warner Bros.

Add on the home entertainment value, TV revenue and fees and Cain lands on a revenue figure of $575 million for Warner.

Now comes the costs of the movie, which is estimated at around $600 million all in, so that's a loss of $55 million.

Not all that great, but it gets worse.

All of this is before we count the studio's overhead costs, which if amortized against the picture would probably widen the Justice League loss by another $40 million.

But for the sake of argument let's say that the incremental merchandise revenue I've temporarily set aside makes up half of that overhead cost, so the film's final loss works out to $75 million...

It's hard not to conclude from this that making tentpole superhero movies for under $100 million is smart and that in most cases making them for $200 million or more is pretty dumb.

Man sometimes..... I see news like this that comes out

And I think back to all the jokes at the expense on the flipside and how petty certain people are and then ponder "what would (insert DC troll stan) do?"

But then I remember..... they can do this a post 60 troll post a day and no has a problem with it, but the moment I say ONE THING "its extra, annoying, I should know better, they victims and dont deserve this cuz its a conspiracy due to bais against them"

It funny how this works out

Every other DCEU movie has made a profit so I don't see it being over, in fact Wonder Woman made a 500 million profit. I see them going through solo films first then going to JL 2 in 2020 or 2021.
