Zola is a girl who was working at Hooters. She is also a part time stripper. One day a white girl and her black sugar daddy come in and Zola is their waitress. Zola and the the white girl bond over both of them being strippers and they exchange numbers.

About a few days later white girl offers Zola an opportunity to go out of town and make alot of money stripping. Zola decides to go even though she just met the white girl and her boyfriend doesn't want her to go.

Zola fukks her boyfriend calm and packs up and leaves to meet with the White girl who is named Melanie.

Zola meets Melanie but she is with a different black men this time. He's her jamaican pimp. Melanie boyfriend is also in the car. His name is Zeke.

Zeke is a simp and emotionally unstable which leads to fukkery.

The Jamaican pimp is crazy too and he fukks Melanie in front of Zeke.

They go to Miami and things don't go as planned. I'll leave it at that lol.

Still really enjoyed this despite knowing what was going to happen. Movie was a lot more tense than the happy-go-lucky tone that was presented in the trailer. Colman Domingo played his role pretty well. Dude could be so suave, yet damn menacing at the same time.

Braun has a lot of Cousin Greg moments in the film. It’s like he just can’t help it….that Greg will remain in his blood forever.

Besides Taylour Paige looking like an absolute snack throughout, those night-driving sequences through Florida were such a vibe. The iPhone timestamps. So anxiety-inducing, and that razor sharp score was just the icing on the cake.

Said it in another thread too, but the atmosphere felt like a fever dream where you couldn’t help but feel the ticking time bomb even during the moments you chuckled. Went in expecting a Harmony Korine/Sean Baker hybrid film and was instead greeted by a work that deviated and formed its own identity, so props to Janicza for that.

My only gripes with it is the ending. It ended whether abruptly. It ended with the Nigerian nikka just taking them to the airport with the white chicks bf crying cuz his head was busted open from his attempted suicide. If you read ole girl’s thread there was a bit more to the story and could have been about 20 min left of the movie.

Other then that…a pretty entertaining movie
