Zoe has Eurocentric features? Thin lips and straighter nose? Are you even looking at the damn picture you posted? Zoe herself has a broad fukkin nose.
Even the quote you had of Iman was misquoted, it was the editor of an Essence who was a black woman that said Iman wasn't black enough and was only regarded as beautiful because she looked like a white woman dipped in chocolate. Which is the same shyt you're doing to Zoe, who btw came up with this damn movie herself. There was no one else who could be cast, she went and did it on her own. It's a movie produced by her.
Tf are you talking about?????? How did I misquote Iman? I literally only posted that Iman has been called a white woman dipped in chocolate, which is exactly what happened? I know it was a Black woman who called her that, I never stated otherwise? The point was that despite her brown skin and being Somali, she has features on the smaller end of the spectrum, which moves her into a Eurocentric standard of beauty. And it's the exact same thing with Zoe, despite her being a brown-skinned Black woman she DOES have smaller features than Nina that make her more comfortable within the white gaze. If Zoe has such a broad nose like you're claiming then why did the producers feel the need to put a prosthetic nose on her for her to play Nina???? Zoe has lighter skin, thinner lips and a thinner nose than Nina which is why the producers THEMSELVES darkened her skin and put prosthetics on her and why she keeps holding her mouth in that funky way. Y'all are the ones whose eyes are clearly deceiving you, if Zoe was such a perfect cast then why did they physically alter her appearance? For kicks? For shyts and giggles? Just to annoy people?
Y'all are really talking NONSENSE right now, completely delusional.
EDIT: And Zoe could have produced the project and still cast an actual darker-skinned, broader nosed actress to play Nina. It would have been the more respectful thing to do rather than paint herself darker and wear a prosthetic nose.
