Y'all forgot that Jordan Brand is a subsidiary of Nike?
He must not have faith he can get his own signature shoe. I cant recall the last time anyone made a big deal about a JB player shoe. Maybe its a short deal and then he can transition to his own shyt if he earns it.
I was about to ask does Jordan even own Jordan brand?Y'all forgot that Jordan Brand is a subsidiary of Nike?
They're rebuilding the brand. They got Russ and Jimmy B. Shyt they gave Russ a signature sneaker and a clothing line. They gave Travis 4 signatures already pretty much. Zion probably have a sneaker by 2020 at the latest.People cry about Bron and Klutch...but how is this dude allowed to be an owner AND have a basketball shoe brand? It literally just occurred to me. How is that not seen as some sort of violation?
Anyway, I don't get this move from Zion's perspective. Jordan Brand is for dudes of lower profile that just want a shoe. Guys of his profile, with his level of hype, shyt some that weren't even on that level, get their own shoe.

They can both be used as means of circumventing the rules.
Lonzo and Marbury are not owners, so I am not sure of their relevance. Not to mention Jordan is the most successful and recognize brand ever, while neither of those brands made it 5 years.
Stop. Kairi Irving of all players got a signature shoe deal after only 11 games of college while sitting out half the season injured on 20 win teams in Cleveland once he got to the NBA. Act like the biggest prospect since LeBron fukking James can't get a signature shoe deal brehs :mjlolheartburn::BronWTFFFF:
NIKE OWNS JORDAN BRAND.
I dont see the difference between signing with Nike, Jordan, Adidas, whatever if you're Zion. Hes getting paid whatever his market value is and will likely get signature shoes/apparel within the next year or so. Why does it matter if the shoe has a Nike or jumpman logo? Unless you're talking about a BBB-like venture. How does it benefit a person of his profile to sign with a rebuilding brand under someone else's umbrella (unless of course they broke him off)? Dude had the entire shoe world at his finger tips.
