Let be honest the only reason @Gil Scott-Heroin hates on Zion is because he don't shoot three pointers like his God Steph and it goes against "analytics"

Which is the ironic thing of what I'm being accused of here. I'm one of the biggest defenders of the current players and this era. I'm purely looking at what success he can have as a #1 option, and that's what my argument is based upon. It's wild to me that folks shyt on Giannis, yet don't scale Zion the same, when they're essentially the same cotdamn type of player.

bytch nikka, Zion literally has the best isolation game for a big I have EVER seen. Not Barkley, not Malone, not Duncan, ect. NONE OF THEM CAN DO WHAT ZION IS DOING NOW.

Find me 1 Giannis isolation where he used finesse to beat multiple defenders.
Giannis has 2 finishing moves (euro step, spin step) and no moves with a live dribble. Soon can cross over to each hand, he can counter defenses and double teams with a live dribble, Giannis can't even avoid a double team with a live dribble.

I'll never forget watching the last game of that Toronto series and watching him running full speed towards the basket.
Zion first year, dude was nice getting around dudes in the paint.
I'll admit to Zion's shortcomings, but, he's already got a wider package of scoring moves that Giannis has now.

And its clear as day that Zion is still figuring out how to play at the NBA level. The pelicans are still trying to figure out how to use him.
If they manage to get some shooters around him its going to be a problem for the league.
