they need to focus on Zion and have the ball in his hands more
.Every time I see the pelicans play literally.no one can stop dude in the post once he is moving , 1 on 1

let BI be the spot up guy, and have zion collapse the D to dish out to.open players , if need be , they look a lot better wit Zion initiating the offence..

or give him more opportunities at the least - they r tryin 2 hard to make BI something he ain't
They've given Zion the freedom to bring the ball up and initiate the offense, he just doesn't take advantage of it

They gotta stop him on the inside first:yeshrug:

This is how its going to go with you though:

Zion is going to have a 2-3 game.streak.where teams eventually stop him inside

You're going to beating your chest after the first one

We are going to tell you to calm down

Zion makes the proper adjustments and then you will start juelizing again...

Rinse, wash, repeat :yeshrug:

they do. His game is limited as shyt tho. He can’t dribble and it’s mainly gonna be shots thrown up to the rim.

Everywhere...You never there.
I don't think Ingram is the right fit next to Zion. Their games just don't mesh. They really need to get a good point guard for Zion.

I don’t think he is either ... not yet at least . Not sure if the pairing is ever gonna work honestly . If you’re not gonna get a good point for Zion , you’re wasting your money and you might as well trade him. Yes I said it and I mean it . Don’t @ me .

He needs to develop his jumper soon. Otherwise he's just a smaller, yet much more athletic version of Shaq offensively. He's not even close to him defensively.

I've been saying this. They will never win with Ingram as the number 1 option. His game is like Westbrook. He puts up numbers but it's to the detriment of those around him on his team cause he is a chucker. For every good shot he takes 2 bad ones and is too ball dominant. Ingram plays like he is kobe but he ain't kobe.

Zion don't even get to touch the ball on half of the times.. offense needs to be built around him cause he will either score or draw the double team and open it up for everyone else everytime.

They’d be better off letting Ingram bring the ball up while Zion has a pin down run for him on the weak side so he can come across the lane/baseline and establish himself in the mid or deep post to catch the ball and go to work. Nobody is able to guard Zion from triple threat in the mid post or the deep post. Nobody. Having him bring the ball up with an underdeveloped handle is just wasted energy and taking Ingram, a great handler, out of the flow while making it harder for Zion to get to his most effective spot on the court. To be fair though, Ingram is seeing a lot of ball handling responsibility this year and he’s excellent with a screen.

What does this post even mean?

NBA hype machine makes people think the players are better than they are.

You're saying that the people who root for Zion aren't posting in here like that but neither were you when the zion hype was high.. you came back to post when people started to post about his flaws

Above the fray.

My VERY first post in this thread is here

Wish the young man the best. He's in a low pressure situation. Team is not expected to win, so he just has to get his numbers. He's likable and seems competitive.

The backlash and people thinking/wishing he flops is a reaction to the media hype and the outrageous claims, comparisons and projections.

I don't think his body will hold up for the full season though. I see him playing less than 60 games.

You can go back and read WHEN it was posted, as well as when my other comments about him and when.

According to the things I began posting here over a year ago, I like the young man , didn't buy into the hype, and think that weight, conditioning, and offensive shortcomings will put a cap on what he'll be able to do in the league.

Deflections and straw men don't work.
