These dunk videos are being released to put pressure on to the team to let him play, Zion's camp doesn't want any restrictions on him

it’s crazy what narratives can do…. The kid has been dying to get on the court since he got drafted, has had some unfortunate injuries, and fans and media are at his neck like he’s some lazy slovenly slob missing games on purpose…he’s getting killed and openly mocked at every turn…I get the frustration

Not surprising. Zion just needs to listen to the doctors

What's the diagnosis on his foot though? Because if he's dunking like we've seen, his foot can handle the stress of landing. There's no way the team would allow that on the floor before games if he was in danger of re-injuring it.

Is this strictly about conditioning? :jbhmm:

10-15 mins a night, and if he gets hurt again it tanks his own stock. if he doesnt, he helps the team immediately.

the team is stupid holding him out
idk about that. Dude is definitely outta shape. They cant throw him into playoff ball. He was already bad on defense, too

They not winning nothing of significance this year. No need to risk him even if he actually is healthy and not fat

MJ did in his second season and set the playoff record for points in a game. :yeshrug:

If he's physically capable of playing, I don't see the harm in letting him go for 10-20 minutes. Can build some excitement and momentum for next season. God knows the Pels need it.

Pels sabotaged the Tigers legend. :hhh:
Zion and his camp sabotaged themselves thinking shyt is sweet playing at that weight. A damn shame what they’re doing to that man; a damn shame folks want him to just play for the sake of their entertainment without thinking about the long term repercussions it might have on his career.

he probably feels like he has something to prove. i want to see him play too, but at this point i understand why they might table it. he probably could give 15-20 mins a game and might be 95% recovered, but why risk it. if the increased activity could lead to soreness then it ain't worth it. got the off season to get 100% and get in great physical shape then come back in beast mode.

Above the fray.

MJ is famously competitive and has the work ethic that comes along with that. He aired out the organization publicly for not allowing him to play once he was healthy. He also aired out a teammate who told him to milk the injury for as long as he could.

Zion has obviously not committed to getting in shape during his injury, and Pels are trying to figure out a way to shop him to any team who thinks he could still help their ticket sales. The more injuries he gets, the smaller his trade value becomes.
