Because this is the 2nd season in a row where the FO has punted on trying to make the post season in order to retool the roster. At some point, management is going to tire of not wanting and demand change from the coaching aspect and FO as well.

Griffin’s excuse was nothing more than to deflect blame for his failures as a GM in putting the right pieces around Zion. It wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest if he fires SVG if they start out horrible next season to save his own a**.

All that banging in the paint is eventually going to take its toll, especially for someone who's undersized like he is. This is why he needs a game which is going to age well, i.e. he needs a jumpshot. Not only for the purposes to exist as a #1 option, but for his own health. He's an opportunist scorer, and not someone who's going to get you buckets with any regularity down the stretch when those easy opportunities are no longer there for him.

Oh yeah I’m not going to chalk this one up to him being prone as that could have happened to anybody during that particular play.

I just find it corny that Griff blamed that particular injury on the refs, when it was obviously an over the back foul on Zion that got himself injured.

nikka was a ghost for like 4 momths while Zion was averaging 27 points a game like you said he couldn’t... in his SECOND year.


They sidelined him because they’re not making the playoffs... thats it.

If they did a MRI, that mean the fracture won’t even show up on an X-Ray...

Plus, you said it was going to be his legs ... but an injury is an injury so you got what you wished for.

Zion did need protection though. Theyre are plenty no calls against him (The Jokic “block” specifically)

dudes always missing games is the plan to just coddle him forever? Of the 144 games Zion could have played in he has played in 85....the dude isn’t tending towards injury prone very fast.
