I really dont understand why this dude gets props

all his beats sound the same...his beats are dope, but they all sound the same

he has that same basic beat/sound that he makes, and then he just twists shyt up

and add some shyt and sells it to different rappers lol

not knocking his hustle but I wonder why this dude keeps getting work

if you think all his shyt sounds the sound you aiin't listening properly breh. the way he manipulates the bass and instruments is god tier

plus dude paved the way for cats like Metro, Southside, 808 Mafia and Lex Luger and he making beats just as good as them now

Respect to him for staying in his lane and crafting a sound. He definitely has produced dozens of great songs but let's not exaggerate too much.

false comparison. Zay could never even hope to have the variety that timbo or Dre did in one album, let alone his whole career. from NWA's albums to Chronic to to 2001 to some of Em's stuff ALL completely different in sound
