Z-Ro’s biggest impediment to his own success is also the same thing that fuels the music that his core fans love…his attitude. The fact that he’s a millionaire at this point is a semi-miracle to anyone who’s familiar with his work.

This was made possible by Texas having had the most lucrative independent Rap scene out there since the 90s. While he has a point in Houston is not a city where you go to get a major deal, to say it has no rap scene at all is very disingenuous.
