Her criticism of homosexuality

Go to the 30:00 minute mark to hear Tariq GO IN on Yvette! It's old but she may have to address this. :ohhh:

I disagree with his characterization of her as a black feminist. If it wasnt for Yvette I would never have heard of Dr. Tommy Curry.:wow:

She also correctly noted that the "data" in the NY Times article on Racism and Black boys shows that Black women don't face the same type of opposition that Black men face under white supremacy and there is a small lane available for Black women. She gets a lot of shyt from sistahs accusing her of being "Black Male Identified." :ehh:

To that brother earlier in the thread that said Tariq did address Yvette Carnell directly, you were correct and I was not:skip:.

How disappointing and shameful

In this thread, there are no...
-FBI/CIA agents
-religious doctrines
-trump voters
-media spinning
or any other common entity that's blamed for dividing the people

Instead it's just so-called Black unity/empowerment supporters playing favorites with Black advocates and pro-Black lifers. Trying to prop up their fav advocate/lifer by destroying other advocates/lifers, despite all advocates/lifers agreeing on the majority of issues

Who benefits from such behavior, damn sure not the community, but enemies of the Black community, self serving Blackfolks, and the ego of each supporter that successfully destroy another advocate/lifer

Nobody is above criticism or above being held accountable. Anything that humans collectively experience/share/strive for, must exist in a sphere of accountability/feedback/laws/regulations/CODE to ensure consistency, reliability and trust among the people. Black Empowerment code: you can't play favorites among advocates/lifers

Dr. Anderson is accused of embezzlement by a bank. If he's found guilty, then he's guilty, he should be held accountable by both the courts and the Black community. There's nothing beneficial to try to spin/excuse a wrong, such behavior doesn't encourage consistency, reliability and trust among the people
I don't care if it's a Black owned company making the allegations, until I see what different specials/offers/rates are given to Black customers, then it doesn't matter. So being that it happens to be a Black bank doesn't add or take away from the seriousness of the allegations

He's been accused but haven't been found guilty. Any insinuations/narratives based on an allegation is completely wrong and unfair. Wait until that man had his day in court and wait for his comments inorder to get both sides of the story, before pushing a narrative. Yvette is wrong and shouldn't be pushing any narratives based on allegations, especially not with a person you agree with most of the time and is a valuable asset for the community

Yvette has the right and the obligation, like we all do, to hold each other accountable. But Yvette has committed a wrong, that she is also a victim of...incorrectly summarizing a person's point so to setup whatever argument you to convey

I watched her video
-After spending about 15min on the things she agreed with Dr. Anderson on, then says she doesn't agree with Dr. Anderson comment , something like "Race is something that Black folks will have to fix." She then proceeded to attach other random arguments that had nothing to do with his original comment or offered any hint of the context in which Dr. Anderson made those comments

-She countered his comments of "Integration didn't work" with "we never had integration, " then proceeded to do the same setting up her argument process. Was his point that we had integration or that whatever the government described it as, it didn't work. That seem nitpicking

-In the same video, she even misrepresented Dr. Watkins comments of "Government never gonna do something for you" to mean that getting reparations/loans is impossible or wrong to request

1. Dr. Frances Cress Welsing
2. Louis Farrakhan
3. Boyce Watkins
4. Dr. Claud Anderson
Yvette has an interesting list of disses :sas2:
Is your problem that these "disses" are not legit OR are you having problems with her trying to "diss" them?

Dr. Claude has fought for reparations for us receiving reparations for decades and poured at least $250k of his own money suing the government for it, gone to Capitol Hill about it and everything. Not YouTube streams and hashtags.... Still didn't stop Yvette from 'deconstructing' him and calling him a failure for his fisheries business :snoop:

It's funny how my OG grandfathered this entire #ADOS movement and got railroaded by a 'leader' whose only sacrifices are streams and retweets :martin:

Reparations has been discussed for a long time now. But Dr Claude did play his part. I hope that he’s still heavily involved in some way of fashion. Hell, I even hope that Boyce is involved too b/c he’s never been against reparations....his focus was just entrepreneurship.

Yvette probably doesn’t even care about his past criticism of her. He never slandered the movement. Anyone can be replaced. Including Yvette.

If reparations is the true end goal then they all will be. All that personal back and forth shyt is stupid. Dr Claude Anderson has to be involved he laid down the foundation.

And he's put serious money on making it a reality :damn: But shytting on Boyce for pivoting like she didn't do the same.

I'm still tryna figure what she did aside from creating a buzz word/hashtag :why:

True but Tariq shyt on YC. Then he jacked her, Irami Frempong and Antonio Moore's AADOS wave, and then turn around and start liking their tweets.

That’s unfortunate bc that movement is 100% organic, I’ve watched it grow from inception to what it is now.

Watching Tariq add to the discussion is cool, but Boyce? Nah. He’s starting to look like a used car salesmen to me

How did he jack her wave? He shouts her and Tone out all the time when he speaks on AADOS.

It sounds more like Tariq has put aside petty differences for the “wave”. I think others should follow suit.:manny:

My recollection is that Tariq was a "Pan-African" type dude that was about how all Black people need to work together collectively to defeat global WS.

He's making money telling "their" (i.e. African, Black-Caribbean, etc) history/lineage/stories through his HC documentaries and merchandise...then within the last month or two he flips out of nowhere saying that African immigrants are responsible for the spike in AIDS in Atlanta and starts talking about AADOS and Foundational Black Americans.

Y'all need to look at that video again (29:00-40:00) He talked about YC like a damn dog for 10 minutes:
  • Folks don't give a fukk about YC
  • She's a nobody
  • She runs with the Ebony.com man-hating liars
  • She's the epitome of sucker-shyt and we don't need her jive-ass nigg@r shyt
  • She keeps a white dikk in her mouth and wants to be like white women
  • She's a fukking fraud and she ain't shyt.
  • She would suck a white dikk to get a job at a white corporation.
  • Tariq has done more for Black society with his macking books than her and her friends put together.
  • She's not an intellectual, she a liar.
I couldn't shout out people, like their tweets, and co-opt their shyt after saying this about them.:hhh: That's fake as fukk.

I think YC and Tone appreciate the added attention that Tariq brings but he's not the right person to be in the front of the "wave."
