It was written specifically for us.Tbf, the letter of the law is clear, anyone born where US law applies is a citizen. Only foreign dignitaries wouldn't apply because they arent subject to US law.
However, I can see people arguing that this rule harms the US by encouraging or rewarding lawbreakers, and therefore shouldn't be applicable to children of illegal aliens.
