RJ is in a great spot, and the team got better around him. A second year player, who was the second starting option on a playoff team averaged 17 pts and significantly improved his 3 pt shot. We seen video of him shooting the 3 in transition and off the dribble too.

His potential is great, why anyone would deny what is so obvious is beyond me

I too would dedicate myself to being a great defender if i had no offensive game.

Fully healthy ill take 18 PPG over a 6-11 PF with a 55 TS% on 9 shots a game :scusthov:
R.J.‘s buckets have not yet proven to be efficient or impactful.

Isaac has potential to win a DPoY he’s already a top flight defender. He has a lot of untapped offensive potential too honestly if that guy ever gets healthy how is he not the better player.

This argument is dishonest....
55% TS for a 5 is awful and inefficient...You will shyt on RJ's PER and metrics all day but downplay it for someone else because of his "potential"

He’s not a 5. He plays mostly the 4 but he’s really a combo forward.

Isaac has an elite skill which is his defense which gives him more value.

Because better players means better player not who’s potentially better :martin::what: and not impactful ? Guess he wasn’t the second best player on a 4th seed last year right ? Wtf are you talking about

The way they set up that list was who they think will be better this upcoming season. So that gives them space to make arguments for guys like Isaac and Hunter who were hurt but had impacts in shorter stints. But they also said they were docking guys like Jamal Murray for being injured, so I still think it's a little inconsistent. I think when you factor in injuries and performance over this past season, RJ deserves the nod over both.
