RJ is gonna be one of the rare ones who breaks through his ceiling, a la Jimmy Butler.
rj's ceiling was always higher than what people were thinking
I've been saying since day 1 rj has star potential yet got huge resistance based off his rookie season and playing with elf pisston

RJ averaged 20/6/3 on 51% shooting and 45% from 3 in 20 games w/out elf pisston last season

His potential was always intangible based tho. People feel he just had the mental makeup to be great, but skill wise it was hard to see. I can’t wait until the rest of the league catches up tho. Of course, the second he blows up all we’ll hear is how “he was the 3rd pick of course he’d be good”.

We getting him into the all star game brehs… :ufdup:everybody better do their part.

:wow: RJ might’ve broken through and reached a new level

RJ needs more touches :takedat:

Randle—>RJ—>Kemba—>Fournier

Should be the order in which they get their shots

I expect there to be games just like that with Rose and Burkes and IQ getting touches too...:banderas:

On the low if Thibs figures it out and they stay healthy this team is pretty aight:smugbiden:

We really just need a guy like Robert Convington to defend against star wings and I would think this team could on the low be dark horse contenders

Why haven't we hired an offensive coach yet

Fugg that sit him in the corners tho thibs need to run plays for Ro out the post where he can clear out...look how much bigger he is compared to Beal and Dinwiddie and those are the nikkas that will be guarding him....

As long as Julius is on the team, RJ is gonna be held back. :yeshrug:

Which is why RJ and Jules should be the only primary scorers in the 1st unit. Ev and Kemba can handle playmaking and Mitch is always a lob threat.

i just wanna see if Rj can create off dribble and get his shot :hubie:

he’s looking like a decent spot up shooter from this video but we all know how real NBA (playoffs :skip:) pressure can effect someone’s shot/confidence :lolbron:

True, I use to say that about KP and Melo too and in the end, KP didn’t have the heart or health to grow into a better player even without Melo carrying him. RJ has that potential but he might never put it together.

If RJ wants to be that #1 scorer let him show it on the floor and then the Knicks can build around him on his second contract.
