I got nothing to lose really, if RJ has an all star year then great for him

and that means knicks will be a major contender cause they definitely added nice pieces around him this off season

I just can’t see Rj being the best player on this current 2021-22 Knicks team

He doesn't need to be an all star or the Knicks' best player, he just needs to improve on a great second year. That'll still make him better than Reddish and far from fighting for minutes. Keep slandering tho

I always thought Reddish was the better player well before the draft so I’ll stick with my opinion


If you understand my main point it’s Rj isn’t a good fit on the Knicks the way the team is currently constructed

that’s if you expect him to live up to his #2 draft pick hype

if you’re fine with him being a role player and 5th/6th option behind Randle Kemba Fournier Rose and maybe Quickley then we are in agreement


Personally I’d rather see RJ ball out in somewhere like Sacramento or OKC where he’d have a bigger role and opportunity

My only issue is that Randle and RJ play the same position/style. One has to switch it up to prevent logjams. There's gonna be bad spacing if both guys are clogging the lane which is where Kemba and Fournier step in.
