In trying to adapt to the fact we aren’t developing unless they already developed. Knox might be unlucky but luck is when opportunity meets preparation. He has to show something in workouts or in game time to get his minutes.
Also this is a Aller type move. I remember the Cavs still credit getting JR and Shump for second rounders to them winning a chip. Last year the Knicks tried it with Omari Spellman but breh was just too fast. Bacon is the Wing they could use if he plays defense. He’s 6’7 has some handle and can shoot and started having 20 pt games at the end of last season. It’s a smart pick up, I wonder why Orlando dropped him. Was it a lack of roster space?
