Lavine was a + defender last year that narrative is out dated

Take your exit bro. Most of us posting about Lavine were probably thinking the same thing as I; that they have a bunch of redundant players on the roster that might not gel. And the Bulls are our rivals so we're gonna discuss them & matching up again them during the regular season & possibly playoffs

His fourth year is a team option and his contract makes him the 13th highest paid 2 guard in the league. It's not some crazy amount.

People didn't want to trade for him because he was an impending free agent, not because he's a bad player.

If we're keeping it real, this free agency has been mid. I'd give it a C+ and maybe bump that up a bit if the Begley report is legit and all the other contracts have team options as well.

We slightly overpaid Noel. Burks and Rose got pretty reasonable contracts if you look around the league and see what other players are getting paid right now. We didn't throw the bag at anybody, again pay attention to the rest of the league. Demar Derozan is getting 85 million dollars in 3 years, that's a bag. Every PG that's actually better than Rose got a bag. Hell, Duncan Robinson got 90 million dollars guaranteed. The problem with this offseason isn't that we overpaid people, look around. If there's an issue to have, it would be that our FO refused to overpay anybody for a major upgrade and was too risk averse.
