Personally I'd consider the Cell Saga to be DB at it's best.
But I agree, YYH is good but slightly overrated. I'm still kind of disgusted at how they left my dude Kuwabara out of the last arc.

Like will the characters still be high school age or will the characters be adults now, since it's been so long.
Adult Yusuke would basically just be Ging from HxH.

My guess is its either gonna be the last short chapter of the manga that never made it to the anime where Koennma and Botan got kidnapped by that religious sect that had some weapon to destroy the human and spirit world and Yusuke and Co had to come save em or something new.
