Some players are morons just like some people are morons in the larger society. I’m not going to play psychologist but we need to stop pretending that we know these players just because they have talent for playing basketball at a high level. Selfishly I don’t want Ja jammed up because I want to watch him on the court other than that I can’t tell the nikka what to with his life outside of that. We all got some shyt that we should be addressing in our lives to get right. You can’t live your life and someone else’s life at the same time even though a lot of people try.

Nah you need to be harder

You must be retarded.

Did Ja get jammed up going through airport security?

If he took a firearm and legally reported it to the captain then he hasn't committed a crime. If he tried to sneak a fun through TSA and got caught, he'd be in jail.

And (i know you're slow but bear with me for a second) he was under suspicion of violating a federal law, he wouldn't be investigated by Colorado police. He'd be in trouble with the Feds.

Don't quote me again

Nba players cannot carry guns on team planes so obviously he didn't declare he had a gun on him. I think the local laws say you cant have a gun where they sell liqour and he was flashing it in a club so thats probably what the local police are looking at.

Free da guys…

Y’all in here hoping the worst on a young misguided black man.
I question whether these nikkas actually like watching basketball or just love reality shows. It’s not enough for them that Ja is suspended and have to deal with consequences, they now want the nikka locked up. Crabs in a barrel mentality

Right. I'm saying until he admits he brought it on the plane, or evidence comes out to that effect, talk of a 50 game suspension is not applicable.

He gonna have to admit it sooner or later cause they could just keep him suspended indefinitely until he cooperates in that case.

The Player association would intervene at some point, you can't suspend a player indefinitely because he didn't admit to something you think he did. When Kyrie got jammed up for his idiotic comments, the NBAPA pushed back on the terms of his reinstatement, which were subsequently loosened.

Why do you keep ignoring that it's stated in the NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement that a player can be suspended 50 games for it? He's been given a 2 game suspension that's going to turn in to an indefinite suspension while everything is investigated. It's also more than just the gun incident. You're just being a contrarian and ignoring the facts of what's going on. It's an unfortunate situation and I hope this helps Ja Morant in the long run.

If he's dead to rights on the gun on the plane, no arguments, ban him for 50. But the NBA can't presume, they need proof the gun was on the plane. And no, they can't arbitrarily suspend him based on the video alone, the NBAPA would be up in arms.

Let's be honest, the other stuff isn't relevant, otherwise he'd be suspended already prior to the gun incident

This is why they are currently investigating it. NBAPA can't do shyt if he gets that suspension. IT IS IN THE CBA!

nikka did you even read the post you quoted? The guy said they can suspend him indefinitely unless he admits. I said that wouldn't be the case. Why are you getting emotional about this?

Why is everyone so emotional about this?
