The discourse around this has shades of racism and you can't convince me otherwise. We're in America. Guns are literally legal. Why is everyone up in arms (no pun intended) about Morant flashing a gun? It's stupid behavior, which probably warrants (no pun intended) a stern talking to by the coach and GM, but why are there think pieces and histrionics? And why is he suspended indefinitely?

People on the coli acting like he a menace to society and need to be locked up :mjlol: and these are supposedly black people.

Dude was just moving like dumbass no need for all the think pieces..

t-dot till they bury me
And why is he suspended indefinitely?
Its indefinitely now? I missed that news

Perhaps the team/league are looking at all the incidents preceeding this weekend, and are now at a point where it's:ufdup: Ja

Him/his circle:
Threatening with hollows
Red light aimed at ya head
Fisticuffs with minors
Shooting at the lakeshow
Gun

Allegedly :hubie::troll:

This is why he's suspended indefinitely. It's not just because of the gun.

The infuriating part of all this (apart from hotep nikkas soapboxing about upbringing and the community and rap music) is...

Why is the team buying into this nonsense? Is he really getting "help" or is he just at home on the PlayStation?

Performative punishment to shoot your team in the foot.

Because the NBA was gonna do it and might have been a longer suspension. Dude brought a gun in a club and posted a video of it. This is while the NBA has an on going investigation into several allegations against him. Also doing a gun shooting celebration after a teammate made a shoot.

Im confused why you dont understand the seriousness of this matter.

Y’all be lying like hell to make a post. Nobody in here defending his actions…. Some people are just saying that y’all are over-doing it and being too hard on him. Y’all acting like he killed somebody in a drive by or something with all the pearl clutching.

And people who are really about that life wouldn’t tell JA to chill out he moving like a goofball :mjlol: People who are really about that life, are next level ignorant and dnt make good decisions as well. They are crashdummies they damn selves why would they say JA moving wrong..like anikka with bodies on his record would be like man JA needs to straighten up:mjlol: They can’t even identify that they are moving wrong.
Nobody should be defending any of his actions. Ain't no overdoing nothing, he's moving like a goofball and if you disagree, you're a goofball too.

nikkas who really live that life look at rappers and athletes especially who try to move like gangsters as cornballs and think they're lame as fukk. Most gangsters are that because they had no choice but to be one based around their environment or they got into the life young as hell and it's pretty much all they know. They wish they had the opportunities these athletes and rappers have, that's why they look at them as dumb as fukk when they move around like they about a life they not from.

You would know that if you actually knew REAL gangsters, not nikkas cosplaying as ones on Youtube and rap videos.

bruh the video you used is about how peopel are upset about it :why:
The backlash was minimal and he WON. There was no call for him to be suspended, or drop out the race. There was no request for him to get "help". Do you not see the difference?

People who are about that life are crash dummies their damnselves. nikka we in America if you want to rob and kill that’s just what you want to do. You trying to romanticize the street life when it’s just alot of nikkas that are highly emotional with no impulse control. Aaron Hernandez was about that life and he made stupid decisions all the way up until he killed himself. nikka didn’t have no insane wisdom from the shyt he got away with.

People who are bout it only start reflecting on that shyt after they get life and get old, when everybody else in their right mind knows right and wrong from the start. nikkas ain’t got no wisdom to pass down.

Every real gangsta I knew end up crashing out, the only time they wisen up is when they are locked up for 10+ years. Take the so call real gangsters like Boosie or King Von for example. They still/was ignorant to this day.

Real gangster is a real crash dummy in my eyes.

Them being crash outs or not is pretty irrelevant. They would say they're crash outs because that's the cards they were dealt or cards they dealt themselves and that's the life they been in and don't see a way out. That complete different than Ja Morant's story. He's a good kid that comes from a good background that never had to be involved in anything (and if he was, then he's an idiot). They look at someone like Ja Morant as a dweeb trying to fit in a lifestyle he isn't from, that already made it, who doesn't need to crash out and get offended by it or just think he's a dummy. He already made it. He's worth 100s of millions. There's literally ZERO reason for him to be acting like he is. The crash out gangsters you're talking about have nothing to lose in their eyes. Ja Morant is basically setting a lottery ticket on fire for no reason other than to pretend to be something he's not to impress a bunch of broke nikkas who also don't believe he's about that life, no matter how hard he tries to act like he is. That's the point.

You know how many gangsters will see a kid who has potential trying to swerve into the street lane and get told "nikka this ain't for you". It doesn't always work, because people are gonna do what they gonna do, but they definitely have them talks. I've seen it.

Above the fray.
To dudes defending or deflecting. Just weeks ago, there was an incident where staff from visiting team had gun scope laser pointed at them in arena parking lot from a car that Ja was allegedly in. His entourage pointed it at somebody who worked for the Jazz . Look up the thread and the quotes in the article. When you put the smilies away, you'll walk back the juelzing.

EDIT: Incident involved members of the Pacers organization

Every incident that happened before this latest gun incident has been convered in this thread. Anyone who doesn't get it at this point doesn't want to.

i never thought I would have to defend this fukking racist. But this is a commercial. It’s fiction. that cracker has not assaulted anyone in real life. It’s a commercial advocating for gun rights regardless how stupid it is. I live in GA. If we want to talk about what if a black man made this commercial, now that’s a different conversation. Kemp isn’t bringing guns to work in the capital, but Ja is. Ja is pointing guns at kids in real life. Ja is threatening foot locker employees in real life. Ja has his goons pointing guns at other NBA players in real life. There is nothing illegal about if you wanted to go to the gun range and post it on Instagram or Facebook, but can you bring your gun to your job? No. Can you just put up a post waving a gun and expect to not get fired? He was on a team plane against policy to have firearms there. On the team plane means you are at work. He brought his gun to work. He is a fukking idiot. This would be the same thing if Kemp was bringing guns into the capitol and he is not. fukk Kemp , but in no way is this remotely similar

How is an elected official...

You know what? Y'all got it.

Ja will probably have RICO charges added to his plate shortly, i didn't know he controlled a criminal enterprise across state lines

You're trying too hard to defend Ja breh. When even his own professional peers are clowning him and saying that he needs to chill out, this isn't the hill to defend him on.
