You compared this to people showing off a gun collection. Obviously, this isn't that, so I don't think I need to further address that "point."

Like him or hate him. Stern even protected players from the media. I remember two incidents where Stern called out the media to their faces. He personally called out ESPN when they did a bull shyt poll asking would the Celtics make the playoffs if Garnett blew his knee out, can't remember if it was his first or third season with the Celtics (I believe it was his 3rd season since he hurt his knee the season before stopping the Celtics change at a repeat) and Stern lit into ESPN and made them pull the poll down.
The second incident was I believe the 2012 Finals when Miami beat the Thunder. I believe it was Mike "me no black" Tirico going on the whole narrative that Lebron was the most horrible athlete of all time due to the decision (which a lot of white mainstream sites, radio stations and cable channels were pushing back then) and live on air Stern looked at him called him out and basically said lets not forget ESPN came to Lebron with the idea of the decision and then walked away when it blew up in everyone's face acting like they were innocent.

From hiding drug tests (cough cough late 1980s report saying how white players specifically QBs positive drug tests results were destroyed yet the drug tests of LT, Manley and other black players was released to the public) to covering up white player crimes or just outright ignoring them.
The media just ran to Vick on some you better forgive him cause we forgave you for the dog fighting and let you continue to play. The white media loves and knows how to play the "I have the high ground angle on black athlete and entertainers".

So I started my 23rd year of life ringing in my birthday at Albany County Correctional Facility (ACCF) in New York, on a probation violation that was supposed to get me 2 years or so upstate---->after I pled out to 6 months county...
The county that was supposed to come get me and remand me to state time dropped the ball, and I got out after 4 months and ran back down south as an absconder from probation. This case, absconding from probation in NYDOCCS, didn't finally clear itself until 2½ years ago...
Went back south, laid low for a few months, then got back into the pills and trees and guns as I crossed into my 24th year...
This was my 23rd year of life, same age as Ja, but on top of already having an extensive street background going to well before I turned 23. And 23 was honestly one of my tamer years
I didn't actually have any violence that year. But I shouldn't have made it to 23...
This DUMB ASS is perpetuating a lifestyle to which if he has any history of involvement it's minimal, but I'd certainly doubt he has any actual footing there regardless...
