I predict Ja will be back by the 1st round of the playoffs
I don’t know about that breh. It depends on 2 things. 1is did he take the gun on the team plane and 2 is conduct detrimental to the team. Even though he isn’t going to jail for brandishing the gun in the club he already admitted he did it and I think that’s enough for conduct detrimental (it’s so broad it can mean damn near anything)

From now until start of playoffs would be double digit suspension.

I know breh. Gilbert got 50 games for conduct detrimental though. It was 2 different commissioners and Silver is more of a players friend type but I wouldn’t be surprised with all the shyt that’s been going on with Ja (mainly the beam on the pacers shyt) that now he’s been caught dead to rights (with a firearm) that they make an example out of him

Gilbert was also convicted on a felony charge. That's a key point people are tending to forget when talking about this.

Im not forgetting that part I just think with all the shyt Ja has had his name in recently he’s not getting off lightly. Wasn’t Gilbert suspended before he got convicted? I don’t remember

It was before, and it was partly due to Arenas being an a$$hole.

Before that SJax got 7 games

The NBA has suspended Gilbert Arenas without pay indefinitely and effective immediately in response to Arenas' admission that he illegally transported guns into Washington, D.C. and then broke league rules by bringing those guns into the Verizon Center locker room. The suspension will continue until, at least, the NBA concludes its investigation into the matter.
NBA Commissioner David Stern made it clear he didn't approve of Arenas' casual response to the gun matter, particularly the way Arenas has joked about it and the photograph in today's Washington Post that showed the star guard using his fingers to "shoot" his teammates, as if he was using pistols.
The stiffest gun-related penalty Stern has handed out was a seven-game suspension for Stephen Jackson, who pleaded guilty to one count of felony criminal recklessness after firing five shots
I highly doubt Ja gets a lengthy suspension. I bet he's back before the end of the month, if not sooner.
