Yeah Gilbert clarified that Stern basically strong armed him into a 50 game suspension because of how he was Wilding out to the media. His suspension was really for behavior ior detrimental to the team and though Gil could've fought it, he didn't want the Stern smoke
Which shows you that the commissioner can get you the fukk up out the paint for however long he wants to if he so chooses because that’s vague enough to mean whatever they want it to mean …. Now anything can always be appealed but that don’t mean you’ll win …like I said before … JaPAC got some “street code” decisions he’s going to be making real soon :picard:

The voiding of his contract coming from Stern reminds me at the time there was legit talk about it. I never thought Ernie Grunfeld or Mrs. Polin were seriously going to do it. Some thought Ted Leonsis might try as he was set to become majority owner after Abe Polin died.

The league trying to void it would have probably set something off with the NBAPA.

Adam Silver loves being friends with the players.

Stern didn’t give a shid.

We’ll see what’s going on with this situation for sure …I think the players have been in a more “secure the bag” mind state during Silvers era

Yeah. 18 months after Gilbert brought guns, the NBA had the 2011-12 lockout. And that was only 13 years from the 1998-99 lockout.

Labor peace continues now

Marc Spears saying nba media knows more of what's going on and he doesn’t expect him to play again this season

It was on the hoop collective this morning
Yah, makes sense
2 games out the gate is optics, "buy time" while the hammer is raised behind the scenes, then dropped

Ja suspended from Memphis.

Wiggins mysteriously on leave from Golden State.

Kyrie sent to Dallas.

Westbrook sent to the Clippers.

It's obvious at this point that there's a giant conspiracy by the league to get LeBron back to the Finals again.
