So I'm checking out the free trial on this off the strength of NFL RedZone. The quality seems better than Hulu Live TV. The picture is crisper imo. Also unlimited DVR.

I don't know if I'd scrap my regular cable for it but the channel lineup is impressive.

My cable isn't bad but I'm noticing a BIG difference between this and Hulu TV. I still have more channels with cable but it's mostly shyt I don't watch, YouTube is quite a bit cheaper I might make the leap..

Despite what some say for 65 a month with the channels they added and giving users the NFL Network now it' still not a bad price. They don't need to go any higher though.

I added the sports package for ten so I guess that would make it $75. If they went any higher than that

Yeah i don't need the extra sports package. With the ACC BTN and SEC or the Pac-12 (cant' remember which one) i'm good on paying 10 extra bucks for what is basically NFL Red Zone.

How do you navigate the channels effectively? The guide/channel menu is so stupid without numbers.

use the iphone app to put the channels in whatever order u want. plus u can filter out all the bullshyt channels u don't like so you get a streamlined list of channels.

also youtube tv works flawless on my phone. when I had comcast, I couldn't watch most of the content outside of the home. especially sports if they aren't on ESPN or TNT.

these nikkas are so dumb. so instead of having 2 $50 subscriptions, I simply consolidated with my brother in law and we pay $35 per month. so google can hold this L.

I mean, I enjoy having control of the account, but for less money I don't care. and I let my kids simply use my account, so it don't matter in the end.

in the end, they’ll make more money. I’m sure they expected a certain amount of churn. There are going to be a bunch of people who just eat it. The only thing YouTube doesn’t have going for them that the cable cos do is they can’t lock people into contracts.

YouTube TV is not even considered a top tier streaming service. The big three of Netflix, Hulu & Amazon are sitting pretty.

The second tier of Apple TV, Peacock (which is free) and HBO max are way way cheaper

you must be thinking of YouTube premium. YouTube TV doesn’t compete against those companies.
