YouTube Premium is life-changing

I gave in and started the trial. Between the no-adds, playing with my phone closed and YouTube music… I may stay on after the trial ends. They calling me.

Yeah, I've had premium for a couple yrs now. Even jumped up to the family plan a couple months ago

And if you have an android phone just side-install Youtube Vanced and listen to whatever music you want for free with no ads ever.

shyt was free, no adds, could see how many times you listened to a song, didnt need serivice for purchased or downloaded music, could search songs in your library, put all external and internal songs in on library. Google Play Music was far superior.

IMO The main thing they somehow messed up during the GPM to YTM transition was the suggested music algorithm. It was as close to perfect as it could be. Could start a (insert artist here) radio 3x and the song list would have completely different tracks. YTM tends to play the same popular songs and ignore album cuts

They configured the YTM algorithm to play popular trending songs or songs you listen to regularly over and over. It's basically the new radio.

The discovery element is not there as much like in GPM or something like SoundCloud.

It would be dope if the app worked like YouTube and give us recommendations and suggestions in a feed format based on our Subscriptions and likes

YouTube premium is SO worth it. I was on my friend's account but he didn't renew. After using regular YouTube I decided to buy it for myself, but I'm trying to consolidate all my digital services. I watch Netflix the least TBH may just cancel it

I do feel it's important to support content creators. I don't mind paying but I'm gonna have to eliminate another service. I hardly watch Netflix nowadays
