Youtube Channel has videos from "worst hoods" in America's major cities...accurate?

I used to film in different neighborhoods because videography is a hobby of mine, but it wasn't just the hood and I didn't make it the focus of my videos.

Honestly don't know what to think about this, I'm not from the US and the only times I hear about the hood is from people. We (here) don't really have a clear view on how it is living in the hood, I know how the suburbia/ rich look like but never saw the true hood. (except for on the wire)
I'm watching the videos not with disgust but with interest on how it looks, for me it's just a dude driving around. I don't see him giving negative commentary or doing any racist shyt.
Basically how I feel, youtube comments are a cesspool for trolls and racists, replace youtube comments with verified facebook profiles and it would be 99% less. I'm looking purely at the content, you can have a kids channel and trolls will find you it's just part of the game
I don't get the logic behind people saying it's racist/agenda to film these places, do you want people to only know about the rich neighborhoods in america? This should be used as a wake up call for the state to see how bad it had gotten in those places where people live. It's a sign the state/government failed in these places why try to hide this?

It would be interesting if he did commentary and interviews the people from these places. But secretly recording them just feels wrong

There are an estimated 20 million people living in trailer parks (mom and dad) most of them white. So what's THERE excuse? There was no Jim Crow, relining or any other economic law which affected whites racially. So before those cacs talk shyt about us maybe they should look at their own people....
