Look up the welfare rate for Somalis in Sweden before you embarrass yourself further. They werent brought in to provide cheap labour, we have 100 million eastern europeans for that.

They were brought in for egalitarian reasons. Basically Swedish politicans support open borders in the hope that the newcomers will vote for them and keep them in power. It also gave them a warm and fluffy feeling. European left wing politicans openly admit this.

Moving on, I don't care what they say. I know the reason. I know what the stipulations are for an unregulated "Euro-Zone". A nice distraction indeed from the economics of the issue is the idea that somehow these people are innately savage. You seem to be incapable of understanding that to each issue, there are a multitude of dimensions.

Somali's are probably the most forgiving people of all time... immigration is a funny subject. If Somali's had any sense they would go to the UK and Italy, and treat them the same way they treated Somali's when they we're their "house guests".

The bulk extent of Swedish imperialism involved conquering other Europeans. They opened themselves to ridicule by implementing these policies to help. The social benefits they gave in form of education, stipends, housing and health care would probably rival a middle class American.

Western Europe is a pretty large place. Can you be more specific? When the accession states/eastern european countries joined the eu in 2004, three countries fully opened their labour market to them. Sweden, Ireland and the U.K. The rest of the EU kept the door shut.

The Swedish have an endless supply of cheap eastern european labour at their exposal.
