The Banker and the Racist did get the larger share of the vote. People sometimes forget that in a pluralistic society where everyone fights for their ideological corner the result is the so called lesser evil vote which makes it necessary to build coalitions with the same people they spend time denouncing. There is never going to be a candidate who represents fully an entire political spectrum.

The French Left has a bit of an obsession with purity, hence why every other candidate but the "far-Left" candidate is telling the French people to vote for Macron.
He's a neoliberal idiot and not friendly to Labour, but he's better for the French people that Le Pen.

young whites have always had the privilege to say "neither the banker nor the racist" because if the racist is elected it doesn't effect them either way. they can just symbolically say they are against racism and didn't vote for le pen, but ya did basically.

when given the choice between a banker or a racist. my black ass is taking the banker every time.
What if the banker is also racist?:jbhmm:

this :mjlol: these dudes kill me man, like the system/status quo isn't already extremely racist. People are just comfortable with the current oppression and are so used to it that they see it as natural, acceptable, etc. got people bursting their blood vessels arguing and campaigning for these types of candidates :mjlol:

We've been brainwashed into believing that the only way of exercising political power is by voting, or even worse, over organized, entirely bourgeois peaceful "protests" like the climate march yesterday.

What we need is violence.
