Thabo sounds like a good dude. Look at what he has to go through with the system and he has money. Imagine some regular ass person from a low income back ground in NYC. What kind of justice do you expect that person to actually get? Justice system needs a major overhaul. These authority figures want to you submit with no questions asked and if you don't that's your ass. People ain't wired like that.

Philly->NYC->Philly
hows the process exactly work?

everyone ive known whose gotten bagged in nyc (including myself) gets taken to a holding cell in the precinct. once that fills up, they shackle you all together and drive you down to central bookings (each borough has a central bookings). at bookings, you go from cell to cell with every single person whose been arrested recently in that borough until you see a judge, in which case you get released (ROR) or sent to rikers to hopefully bail out. the whole process usually takes 2-3 days, even for a minor misdemeanor. think of a cell the size of a dorm room with 50 nikkas in it, some sleeping on the floor, some sleeping on the benches, some sleeping under the benches (the sewer), and of course the one nikka who sits on top of the toilet and watches you piss.

NBA star though? :usure: Losing Thabo Sefolosha derailed a championship run? :usure:
News media always uses the term nba star when discussing current player, they would see have no problem calling Kendrick Perkins an NBA star :heh:

Well played :russ:

He managed to get out of any community service, there's still some hope.

The process will be drawn out for a while though.

It was an act of police brutality, and I believe it could happen to anyone. Now I'm a lot more aware of everything that goes on. I've been, I don't want to say disillusioned, but brought back to earth in a harsh way. I look at videos of police brutality on YouTube or CNN.com. The other day I was watching this woman getting punched by the police for recording them arresting her husband. In a situation like this, you are helpless. If there's six people jumping me outside of the club, I scream, "Police, police!" If the police are doing this to me, who you want me to turn to

That wake up call, is a bytch goddamn it.
But certain nikkas get that call, n become a beacon for change.others get that call, n try to sleep even harder.
It sounds like Thabo is a lot more aware.
