Z-Ro - The Life of Joseph W. McVey

Twista - Kamikaze

Shyne - God Father Buried Alive

Lil Wayne - Tha Carter

Devin Tha Dude - 2 Tha X-Treme

I was bumping these CDs religiously back in '04, all four of these albums still hold up today.

Even though Kanye is a weirdo now, he gave Twista that stimulus package back in 2004 and resurrected his career back.

Revitalized him back as a ladies rapper.

:wow:

Album sounded anything but dated

But I understood why it wasn’t many people’s cup of tea

It should have came out in 2002…

For one, it was still the soul era

Two, the Lil Jon Super producer era didn’t start to take over until 03 when he had multiple hits by different artists so Mos was still able to thrive for a bit.

Mos has a slept on catalog. I honestly think that rap was a way to get into the door for other things. I don’t think he’s that enthusiastic about the industry anymore.

No order

Kiss Of Death
Streets Disciple
Hunger For More
Straight Outta Cashville
1st Infantry

Kiss Of Death was better than the first Jada album…

Jadakiss fixed the issue and voila.

He made a real banger with Snoop using a real Westcoast producer… check

He made the soft songs listenable… check

U can get through the first half of that album without skipping

Its one of my favorites from him catalog. Maybe cause its nostalgia but songs like Still Feel Me & By Your Side are classic.

Album was a blend of songs he was working on with his band Black Jack Johnson and their album got shelved. he’s an artist who has always marched to the beat of his own drum

He was busy acting so it took a minute for it to come out after Black On Both Sides

He started off as an actor first and then got into hip hop
