Same. If i had to introduce someone to rap music, it would be through this album.
This album guided me to manhood.

That's my album right there, listening to it right nowwhats your personal favorite album of all time. nobody gets judged in here because its all relative. no arguments about just piff and daps
my personal favorite is MM FOOD. this is my absolute favorite album to listen to front to back. sonically this album is like crack for my ears. plus lyrics for daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaays. all features were on point. mr fantastik is better than your favorite rapper. count bass d destroys too.
dont even mind the skits in the middle because they got some piff beats behind them
This album right here. handcrafted with love for young black men.
I was torn between this and The listening.
It's tough to choose which album is better I feel like The Minstrel Show may be better top to bottom, but The Listening has higher highs with shyt like Speed and Yo-Yo.I was torn between this and The listening.
THe minstrel show got me through my first year of college brehsthe smokey windy college atmosphere of this album takes me backcombined with late registration
But the listening is got a similar but brighter atmosphere: early saturday morning campus haze
Shoutout to the breh that mentioned black on both sides too. that's in contention
