I noticed and knew a significant amount of black feminists in uni who did this: they were on their audre lorde but shacking up with white men. Always puzzled me.

I personally couldn't identify with or see myself connecting with a white man romantically. Everything about my existence is political being a black Muslim woman, and discussing that with a male who reaps the utmost privilege (male, heterosexual identified, white) would make me uncomfortable. One of my cousins is in a serious relationship with a German dude - they're preparing for marriage. I love him and he's absolutely cool, but I've had moments with him that just reaffirm why I'm not built for interracial relationships with white boys. The first time he saw my hair curly after a wash, he pointed at my cousins hair (his gf) and said (after asking a few q's to confirm if my hair was real) "Your hair looks like it's much easier to maintain than hers." I gave him side eye and walked away. Nope.

They are out there and there are plenty of them, nikka I live in Detroit. If i can find good wifys and young rats to smash on the side.. any of you nikkas can find them easier than me.

Black girls ain't attracted to me. Haven't been since HS so why waste my time when it's not in my favor when I can just get it in with girls that are attracted to me?

What's the link between your beliefs/engagement and your sentimental life? I mean, in my opinion being pro-black does not mean being against other races (I doubt most on the coli feel the same tho) so why couldn't a Black man (or woman) striving for the betterment of Black people in one way or another would be seen as "fake" because he/she dates a white person, a turkish person, a chinese person? What's one got to do with the other?

IMO it's faker to put your feelings aside.

Not being pro-Black doesn't mean being anti-Black but when you are the minority population and underclass then population matters in socioeconomic terms, especially in a capitalistic system.
