- Rock N Sock Connection
- Dr. Death & Terry Gordy
- The Mega Powers (not because of their work, but because they had a GOAT storyline)
- RVD & Sabu
This is actually a GOOD take.RVD and Sabu is easily number 1. They are the reason I watched ECW at a time.
Not sure if this is odd but 90s Sting and Lex Luger was cool too.
Yokozuna and Owen was a good pick someone said earlier
Kane and Undertaker is definitely an odd couple because Kane debuted trying to kill Taker so them teaming up is amazing
Rock and Mankind was trash outside of funny skits.
I think theyre too official a tag teamForgot the New Age Outlaws should probably be the prototype for this.
They ended up being a real teamForgot the New Age Outlaws should probably be the prototype for this.
Odd couple tag teams are teams consisting of two wrestlers either with completely polar opposite personas who don't seem like they would match but ends up working out (Rock and Mankind), or tag team consisting of rivals who don't get along but make a great tag team (Kane and Daniel Bryan)Define odd couple. When I think of Odd Couple tag teams, the Hart Foundation and Harlem Heat come to mind as prototypes. One guy is the power guy/big guy, and the other guy is the athlete/technical wrestler. Many of the 80's and 90's tag teams were similar types of wrestlers i.e. Tully/Arn, Road Warriors, Demolition, Rock and Roll Express, Rockers, etc.
