I have absolutely no idea how anyone who is not a teenage boy is excited to see a Fast and Furious spinoff or whatever carbon copy superhero sequels.

You can "personally prefer" whatever you want, but those things are pretty immature. Grown people are watching people throwing each other into monuments while repeating whatever lame ass joke every other line and then trying to act as if that is somehow profound while having a straight face. (No, it does not have to be profound, but people are trying to treat it as more than what it is and have that be the only form of art for everyone.) Bill Maher is stating the truth with respect to that even though the guy is trash.
